“Coastal, clean and fresh”
Our task was to transform the existing Brazilian cherry wood and saturated stone kitchen and bath into a coastal, clean, and fresh design while also preserving the cherry wood elements.
The client asked for a beautiful, clean and simple design and we delivered by elevating the interior decor to tie the limited brazilian cherry with the bright, clean, California views of the canyons and surrounding landscape.
The home sits atop some of the most stunning canyons in San Diego, full sliding glass doors off the open kitchen/living room spaces, as well as a large picture window in the primary. These views presented opportunities that demanded to be incorporated seamlessly into the transformation of these spaces. The fun in this project is the unexpected surprise found in the half bath, the design and decor for the die hard sportsman personality of the husband, married with the exquisite simple luxury derived from the wife’s palette. This project included a remodel of the kitchen/living/dining areas, the primary bath and half bath.
Full kitchen remodel - reconfigure the cabinets, add bar and shelving to dining area, modernize kitchen island and scale to fit kitchen. All new decorative lighting in kitchen, dining, living room and entry. New fireplace was added in the living room.
Master bath complete gut and remodel. Removal of built in tub to be replaced with soaking tub in front of large picture window. Reconfigured soffits to be seamless and connecting throughout the whole master suite. His and her shower heads in the enlarged shower.
