Asteya’ is a sanskrit word meaning ‘non-stealing’. Founded on the belief that we have all what we need already inside of us, the mission of Asteya is to help you lose your mind in movement so that you can find a deeper connection to your soul.
Asteya is more than just another yoga studio. It is a space designed to cultivate authentic connections, to pause, breathe, move, and rediscover confidence in your physical and energetic body. Every element from the flooring, to the built-in wrapping bench in the entry, welcoming guests to take a seat and make themselves comfy, to the soft, embracing furniture pieces in the second floor lounge were carefully selected to ensure the Encinitas community vibe embraced every soul who stepped into this studio. The warm wood tones, the neutral grays, greens and orange colors in combination with the variety of textures - the natural concrete, wood elements in the furniture, women upholsteries and accent rope art pieces, all drawing from the essence of the nature that grounds us all and welcomes us to come home to ourselves inside the walls of Asteya Yoga studio.
